Privacy
1. Who we are
Complaints Blog (complaintsblog.com) is operated by Complaints Media Group Ltd. Contact: contact@complaintsblog.com.
2. Data we process
We do not create user accounts and do not run marketing signup forms on this site.
We may process:
- Email correspondence if you write to us (address and message content), solely to reply and keep a record of the exchange for a limited time.
- Technical logs generated by our hosting provider (IP address, user-agent, date) for security and debugging, retained for a short period.
Audience analytics
We use Matomo in cookieless mode for aggregated, anonymised traffic statistics. No advertising identifier is stored on your device. Learn more at matomo.org.
3. Legal basis & retention
- Emails: legitimate interest / your request (pre-contractual steps). Kept only as long as needed to handle your request, then deleted or archived if a legal duty applies.
- Server logs: legitimate interest (security). Typical retention under a few weeks unless an incident requires longer.
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. Processors may include our host (Railway) and, if used, Matomo infrastructure, only to run the site and measure aggregate traffic.
5. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. Contact contact@complaintsblog.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
6. Cookies
This site does not use non-essential cookies for advertising. Audience measurement, when enabled, runs without cookies.
7. Changes
We may update this policy; the date below will change. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
